We had fun one warm summer day taking pictures of each other in our neighborhood by this really cool wall mural created by local kids. I just felt like posting them because I love the color and feeling in them and… I LOVE MY DAUGHTER!..plus with the weather outside it seems very fitting. Taken with my old film camera Pentacon 6 on Kodak Portra 400 and processed by RPL. The camera overlaps frames depending on how you load film and i can also do free-hand tilt with the lens…it’s awesome. Enjoy!

Little that I knew I would be photographing their amazing engagement session in Minneapolis and just as amazing wedding in Des Moines when they had change of plans. I was so honored to be a part of their celebration full of love, emotion, tears and laughter…and it is so strange and wonderful to me that even after photographing weddings for more than 10 years I can still be so touched by the emotion and completely engulfed by the neverending love that I see around me… some things never change and it’s a good thing!
